I’m a writer and critic. I’m also a contributing editor at the New York Review of Architecture and at Bomb Magazine.
I write about culture and like to think of myself as a generalist, though my focus has often landed on books and film. I have also written and spoken a lot about architecture.
I have a Substack called The Immense Wave. It started out being about music and now it’s a little about everything.
I also do editorial and communications work on a freelance basis. I’ve done everything from copyediting book manuscripts and overhauling architects’ websites to proofreading event brochures and content-editing PhD papers.
